Uncensored Archive ("the site", "we", "us") stores only what is needed to run an account, keep the archive stable, and review submissions. Questions: [email protected].
Data we may hold
Username (max 12 characters) and password hash — not the raw password.
Email, if you give one at registration or in your profile.
IP address and basic request metadata when you sign in, post, vote, or create a case.
Optional profile fields you fill in yourself (bio, avatar for eligible ranks, PGP key on a case).
Content you publish: cases, proofs, comments, reports, bookmarks.
We do not sell this data. IPs are not shown on public pages.
When it is collected
You create an account or edit your profile.
You open pages, search, vote, comment, or submit a case.
Staff act on reports, bans, or audit events.
The site sets a session cookie so you stay logged in.
How it is used
To identify your account and attach posts to it.
To send rare service mail (approval of a case, security notices) if email is on file.
To rate-limit abuse, investigate ban evasion, and keep an admin audit log.
To count visits and fix errors — not to build an advertising profile.
Staff can see usernames, roles, and moderation history. They cannot read your password.
Cookies
Login uses a first-party session cookie. A small cookie may remember whether you already counted a case view. Preference flags such as the collapsed staff rail live in localStorage on your device. No third-party ad cookies.
CAPTCHA
Registration and similar forms may use Cloudflare Turnstile. That service receives a technical token from your browser. See the Cloudflare Privacy Policy.
Retention
Account and public posts stay until you or staff remove them. Soft-deleted cases can be purged by staff. Audit logs and IPs tied to moderation are kept as long as needed to run the site.
Your choices
Do not register if you do not want an account record.
Leave profile fields empty if you do not want them stored.
Contact us to close an account. Public cases you authored may remain as part of the archive unless staff agree to remove them.
